I’m a writer, ponderer and sometime mischief-maker. I hail from a penal colony and have been arrested in no less than 16 countries… JUST FOR BEING MYSELF.*As a relatively recent resident of the United States of America, my new mission is to come to a greater understanding of my adopted country, and I blog my way toward this goal.
I’ve spent a readerly life, which has led me to a writerly life. I’m currently redrafting a novel about Ireland, magic and the dangers of charm, which is due to be completed in late 2018.
I’m also the co-developer (along with Martha Beck) of the online writing course, Write Into Light.
After many years making my living in language, it is my belief that when all else is stripped away, story remains.
